Students and staff returned to the much loved Freedom Equine Centre for five weeks this summer term and everyone enjoyed every minute of it!
For our newer students, this was their first opportunity to meet the therapy horses, alpacas, goats and many more farm animals. They learn how to properly groom and care for the animals and also build obstacle courses to entertain and challenge the goats!
The horses continue to be the favourites of the students and staff who have been before, and it’s been interesting to learn about their senses and how they react to different smells and tastes.
Students loved having the opportunity to ride, as well as leading the horses and alpacas around too.
