Hope Corner School is an Independent SEN School in Runcorn, with a Christian ethos, that is part of Hope Corner Community Church. Our provision is for 14-16 year olds.
Hope Corner is a place where students are valued and cared for in the love of Christ. This environment helps them to grow and connect with others, to become confident in who they are and to transition into the next stage of their learning or employment.
Our unique setting allows us to have small class sizes and work very closely as a team alongside our students. At Hope Corner we focus on what each student needs to become a successful learner, a confident individual and a responsible citizen. For many of our young people, progress in social and emotional areas is a key to learning. We tailor our curriculum to reflect this, with a strong emphasis on personal development and experiential learning.
Our vision is for young people to aspire to their potential by understanding God's love for them.
We provide an alternative and inspirational model of education, accessible to all, which displays the love of God. We do this by:
Helping young people realise their God given potential.
Removing barriers to learning.
Developing the whole person.
Developing resilience in order to thrive in life.
