Hope Corner School Celebrates School Leavers Success with Halton Mayor

We were thrilled to celebrate the success of Elisa and Connor as they leave Hope Corner School to go onto their college places in September. Hope Corner Church hosted the celebration and the church was joined by students with their families, along with Halton's Mayor and consort.

The mayor presented our students with their qualifications and award certificates. This was well deserved with their academic progress and development in personal skills during their time in the school. Parents commented on how much it meant to them that so many people were celebrating their child.

Following the celebration, students, families and church members were invited up into the school to see student work, discuss the school with staff and take part in our school mock election. Students created political parties, manifestos and recorded political speeches. Everyone in attendance was asked to vote on their favourite party.

A huge thank you to everyone involved with this event. We are so proud of Elisa and Connor, of all their achievements over the nearly 3 years they have been part of our school community. We are praying for continued success in your futures. We hope we come and visit the school soon!
